Currently i am branding a new designer clothing line called Confirm-Clothing. I did some pictures of the new jacket design for an article, check them out by clicking on the picture below. Furthermore  i am doing my ‘anti marketing’ for him. Jawat, The Opposites and Lee Stuart of  State Magazine have already been spotted in it! Come back to hear about the latest gossip.

Pleased to inform you, i am at least. I have invited Tetsu Kondo, that i met in Sao Paulo last year at FILE Hipersonica for a artist in residence at MAD emergent art center this March. Among other events he will perform at the NERDlab7 events that i help curate. We are also discussing a collaboration, more info soon.

The ‘corporate identity‘ i designed for Arcus Bouwconsult and Arcus Ontwikkeling are finished. Click HERE or on the picture below to go and check out the result. I am happy with the final result although the printing process took ages.

A friend Martijn Crins has won the 2009 Cameretten Festival. The boys at ‘Moederschip‘ and me are in the process of building his new webpage, which will be online soon over HERE. Next to that i am building his logo and working on a merchandise series, clothing with one-liners from his show. The clothing is already for sale over HERE but will also by available on his website among other niceness. Keep you posted!

The time has come to finally start releasing my ‘concept clothing’. If these fancy shirts will sell i will make it into a ‘full brand’ next season. There will be a new design released every month, the first one up is the Concept Series_001 (nobody will rock your world). This will all be basic minimalist designs in black and white, and i have the sexiest model showing them off soon to! Every design will feature that month’s topic and yes the ‘Che Guevara is dead’ design already got bounced. Get one while they are still available and spread the word!

We had a great night last Friday at Kelderman en van Noort gallery. Orphax and staplerfahrer played a great set and there was a good line throughout the whole night. Our performance with Phase Alternating Line also went well, the recording of that is online HERE. Next to that i shot some good pictures that night for you to check HERE.

I have been uploading some pictures that i shot during my stay in Vancouver. One afternoon i ran into Jeffory who was just cleaning the abscess on his arm in the park. He told me he has gone from shooting up 7 times a day to 2, i guess the downtown east-side area is pretty ruff and there are a lot of people like Jeffory. I thought it was really nice that he let me take this nice portrait of him.

Since yesterday officially The Video Word Made Flesh is dead. It’s members Roel Dijcks, Wim-Jan Smits, Ties van de Ven and me Albert van Abbe decided on that.  Each one of us will work on new projects solo and or with other members of the old collective.
